Within the framework of the World Bank–supported “Modernizing Uzbekistan’s National Innovation System” (MUNIS) project under the Innovation Development Agency, a training program on “Managing Scientific Projects in Accordance with International Standards” was organized.
The training was conducted in cooperation with the Project Managers Union of the Republic of Kazakhstan (QRLMI) and the Moytra Management consortium, with the participation of international experts. The sessions were delivered based on the PMI PMBOK® Guide and ISO 21502 standards.
A total of 100 participants from higher education and research institutions—including professors, researchers, project managers, and assistants—took part in the event and strengthened both their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in effective scientific project management.
At the end of the training, active participants were granted the opportunity to obtain the international PMI PMBOK certificate and to take the exam for the CPM (Certificate Project Manager UZ) qualification.
Muhiddin Juliev, Doctor of Biological Sciences and Senior Researcher at our institute, actively participated in the program and further enhanced his knowledge and skills in managing scientific projects in line with international standards.
This participation marks an important step in strengthening our institute’s capacity to adopt international best practices, manage research projects effectively, and contribute to innovation-driven development.
