On April 8, 2026, Prof. Abdurauf Dzhurakhalov, an emeritus leading researcher at the University of Antwerp holding DSc degrees in physics-mathematics and biology, and Prof. Ishmumin Yadgarov, DSc in physics-mathematics and chief researcher at the Institute of Ion-Plasma and Laser Technologies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, visited our institute.
During the visit, institute staff provided a comprehensive overview of ongoing research activities in the scientific laboratories, highlighting current projects, methodological approaches, and key technological capabilities. Particular attention was given to interdisciplinary studies and the application of advanced analytical and experimental techniques.
The guests expressed strong interest in several research directions and engaged in detailed discussions with the laboratory teams regarding potential areas of collaboration, including joint experiments, data exchange, and the development of innovative solutions to contemporary scientific challenges.
As a result of these discussions, an agreement was reached to pursue bilateral scientific cooperation moving forward. Both parties emphasized the importance of establishing long-term partnerships, organizing joint workshops and seminars, and promoting researcher exchange programs to facilitate knowledge transfer and strengthen scientific capacity.
