In accordance with the implementation of Presidential Decree No. 122, a joint delegation from the Institute of Fundamental and Applied Researches (IFAR) and TIIAME National Research University visited Fergana State Technical University today.
The visit featured a specialized exhibition of cutting-edge scientific developments aimed at modernizing Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector. Regional farmers, agricultural specialists, and stakeholders attended the event to explore innovative solutions designed to enhance crop yields and optimize resource management.
The IFAR team showcased several high-impact innovations, including:
Plasma Technology in Agriculture: Utilizing low-temperature atmospheric
plasma to treat seeds, significantly improving germination rates and strengthening plant
resilience against environmental stress.
Next-Generation Biofertilizers: Eco-friendly solutions designed to restore
soil health, enhance nutrient uptake, and promote sustainable growth.
Automated Soil Moisture Sensor Systems: Intelligent, sensor-based
technologies that provide real-time data for automated irrigation, drastically reducing
water waste and energy consumption.
The exhibition sparked high interest among local farmers, leading to productive discussions regarding the practical integration of these technologies into field operations. Farmers actively engaged with our researchers, seeking specific insights on how to transition from traditional methods to these automated, science-backed systems.
These initiatives represent a vital step in integrating research into real-world farming practices, ensuring that scientific progress translates directly into economic stability for our agricultural communities.
