At the initiative of Dr. Jamoliddin Razzokov, Director of the Institute of Fundamental and Applied Research (IFAR), efforts have begun to elevate scientific collaboration with the Harbin Institute of Technology (China), one of the world's leading technical universities, to a new level.
The institute welcomed leading plasma physics specialists — Prof. Chengxun Yuan, Prof. Chen Zhou, and PhD student Weiqiang Yang. During their visit, the guests were introduced to the ongoing research activities in IFAR laboratories, and promising areas of cooperation were discussed.
As a result of the meetings, the parties agreed to collaborate on the application of plasma technologies in agriculture, water purification, CO₂ conversion, and nitrogen fixation, as well as to develop joint international research projects.
The strong scientific ties maintained by IFAR Chief Researcher Prof. Ahmadjon with the Harbin Institute of Technology have provided an important foundation for strengthening this partnership.
To further advance this collaboration, Dr. Jamoliddin Razzokov will undertake a scientific visit to the Harbin Institute of Technology from May 23 to June 10. During this visit, he will work on joint research activities and discuss future international projects.
This partnership will create new opportunities for scientific innovation, international knowledge exchange, and the advancement of cutting-edge research at IFAR.
