Visit of the academician and professor (supervisor and his former PhD student) to the Ferghana Valley

On March 4-6, 2024, the Honorary Researcher of the Republic of Uzbekistan and a member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bobomurat Ahmedov and Doctor of Sciences in Physics and Mathematics, Professor Ahmadjon Abdujabbarov visited Namangan and Andijan regions. The first day of the visit began in Namangan region, and meetings and seminars were organized at Namangan Engineering-Construction Institute, Namangan Engineering-Technology Institute and Namangan State University. In addition, meetings and round-table discussions were held with talented schoolchildren in the Youth House (library) and with community activists in the neighborhoods of Uychi district. On March 5, the journey continued towards Andijan. Meetings were organized at Andijan State University in Andijan region. An office room dedicated to academician Bobomurat Ahmedov was opened at the university, and meetings were organized there. On March 6, they left for the Marhamat district of Andijan region. A meeting was held with students of the elementary school of economics in the district, and at the end of the visit, meetings were also held in the neighborhoods of the Marhamat district. Consequently, the scientific trip ended with interesting meetings, roundtable discussions, seminars and impressions. Academician Bobomurat Ahmedov was accompanied throughout the trip by Jonas, a graduate student of the Silesian University in Opava, Czech Republic. During the trip, Jonas tried to get a short video film about the activities of the Uzbek academician and posted it on the Internet.
