JI am happy to share that my colleague, Dr. Maksudbek Yusupov, and I are participating in the 8th Asia-Pacific Conference on Plasma Physics. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Kikuchi Mitsuru for his support, which made our participation possible. This is one of the most prestigious gatherings in our field, bringing together over 400 AAPPS-DPP members from across the globe—a number that speaks to the rapidly growing interest in plasma science.
The conference has been filled with insightful talks and discussions. We were honored to deliver an invited talk and co-chair a session alongside Dr. Nikola Skoro from the Institute of Physics in Belgrade, Serbia. My conversations with Dr. Skoro opened up exciting possibilities for collaboration, and we exchanged many ideas for advancing our research in plasma science.
It’s also been a pleasure to reconnect with Prof. Zhitong Chen, my collaborator who is attending the conference. We discussed plans to submit a proposal for the upcoming China-Uzbekistan project call, an opportunity I’m eager to pursue. As I mentioned in an earlier post, this conference has also become a reunion for former PLASMANT members—Prof. Pankaj Attri, Prof. Weizong Wang, Prof. Quan-Zhi Zhang, Dr. Maksudbek Yusupov, and myself—all of us working hard to make advancements in plasma research.
Beyond the formal sessions, we continued our discussions around a round table at a Chinese restaurant, graciously arranged by Prof. Zhitong Chen. With three more days of the conference ahead, I look forward to even more opportunities to learn, collaborate, and share ideas.
