Turayev Obidjon, a junior researcher from the Institute of Genetics and Experimental Biology of Plants under the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, visited the Institute of Fundamental and Applied Research (IFAR).
During the meeting, Obidjon highlighted critical challenges in the textile industry, including the poor absorption of dyes by cellulose and the difficulties associated with treating textile wastewater.
The IFAR team presented potential solutions to these issues:
1️⃣ Positive preliminary results were shared regarding the use of plasma technology to
purify textile wastewater effectively.
2️⃣ It was proposed that experiments could help improve the adsorption of dyes on fabrics,
offering a promising approach to address this challenge.
The discussion emphasized the growing importance of water issues in the region and the
necessity of applying high-efficiency technologies to solve these problems.
This collaboration marks a significant step forward, and future efforts are expected to
yield impactful results.
