Visit of Prof. Muhammad Ajmal Shah

We were honored to host Prof. Muhammad Ajmal Shah, PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, from Hazara University, Mansehra, Pakistan at our institute. Prof. Shah is a distinguished expert in pharmacology ๐Ÿงช and medicinal chemistry ๐Ÿงฌ, and has also patented his own green synthesis method ๐ŸŒฑ.

Our professional connection began earlier this year via LinkedIn and Facebook ๐Ÿค, and since then, weโ€™ve agreed to initiate collaborative research. In April, he arranged a series of visits to various universities and research institutes, and we were delighted to welcome Prof. Shah to our institute ๐Ÿ›.

๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ”ฌ I had the pleasure of reconnecting with my former scientific supervisor, Prof. Paul van der Schoot, a leading expert in Theory of Polymers and Soft Matter. His work has been published in top-tier journals such as Science (IF-47), Nature Nanotechnology (IF-38), and JACS (IF-14.5).

During his visit, we had in-depth discussions ๐Ÿ—ฃ on collaboration in green synthesis ๐ŸŒฟ, plasma agriculture โšก๏ธ๐ŸŒพ, and pharmacology ๐Ÿ’Š. I presented our preliminary findings on plasma-treated seed development ๐ŸŒฑ and mineral uptake ๐ŸŒ. Prof. Shah highlighted that enhanced mineral absorption can boost the biosynthesis of active compounds ๐Ÿ”ฌ, a direction we now aim to explore together. We also showcased our laboratories ๐Ÿงซ and shared key experimental results ๐Ÿ“Š. I sincerely thank Prof. Muhammad Ajmal Shah for his visit, insight, and spirit of collaboration. We look forward to fruitful outcomes soon! ๐ŸŒŸ
