We were honored to host Prof. Muhammad Ajmal Shah, PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, from Hazara University, Mansehra, Pakistan at our institute. Prof. Shah is a distinguished expert in pharmacology ๐งช and medicinal chemistry ๐งฌ, and has also patented his own green synthesis method ๐ฑ.
Our professional connection began earlier this year via LinkedIn and Facebook ๐ค, and since then, weโve agreed to initiate collaborative research. In April, he arranged a series of visits to various universities and research institutes, and we were delighted to welcome Prof. Shah to our institute ๐.
๐จโ๐ฌ I had the pleasure of reconnecting with my former scientific supervisor, Prof. Paul van der Schoot, a leading expert in Theory of Polymers and Soft Matter. His work has been published in top-tier journals such as Science (IF-47), Nature Nanotechnology (IF-38), and JACS (IF-14.5).
During his visit, we had in-depth discussions ๐ฃ on collaboration in green synthesis ๐ฟ, plasma agriculture โก๏ธ๐พ, and pharmacology ๐. I presented our preliminary findings on plasma-treated seed development ๐ฑ and mineral uptake ๐. Prof. Shah highlighted that enhanced mineral absorption can boost the biosynthesis of active compounds ๐ฌ, a direction we now aim to explore together. We also showcased our laboratories ๐งซ and shared key experimental results ๐. I sincerely thank Prof. Muhammad Ajmal Shah for his visit, insight, and spirit of collaboration. We look forward to fruitful outcomes soon! ๐
