The Institute of Fundamental and Applied Research was honored to welcome Dr. Shokir Pardaev, a friend and former coursemate of the institute's leadership. ๐ Dr. Pardaev completed his Master's degree at Mississippi State University and earned his PhD from Kent State University. He is currently serving as an engineer at Intel Corporation. ๐ป๐ฌ
During his visit, Dr. Pardaev was introduced to the wide range of ongoing research at the institute, including projects on plasma agriculture ๐ฑโก๏ธ, plasma cancer therapy ๐งซ, development of efficient drug inhibitors ๐, astrophysics and cosmology ๐, AI-powered plant disease detection ๐ค๐, biofertilizers ๐งช, and GIS technology for agriculture ๐๐ฐ.
He expressed a strong interest in applying artificial intelligence in drug discovery, and a promising collaboration has been initiated in this area. The joint project aims to accelerate the search for novel drug candidates using cutting-edge AI technologies. ๐ค๐ก
