Mapping Soil Erosion Susceptibility Using a GIS-Based Approach

Within the framework of ongoing scientific research at the Institute of Fundamental and Applied Research, field studies were carried out by PhD researcher Xolmurodova Madinabonu under the supervision of Dr. Juliev M. on the topic “Mapping Soil Erosion Susceptibility Using a GIS-Based Approach (A Case Study of Chartak District, Namangan Region)”.

During the fieldwork, soil scientist, Candidate of Biological Sciences Obid Khakberdiyev also participated and provided his recommendations in the process of soil sampling.

During the visit, erosion points were identified in the study area, and soil samples were collected. The results of this research will serve to enhance the effectiveness of the scientific work carried out at the Institute.
